Hurtigruten, which operates a number of vessels on the coast of Norway and in expedition regions, has placed an order for two new ships for deliveries in 2018 and 2019.
The agreement includes an option for two additional vessels.
Kleven Verft, a shipyard in Norway, will build the 600-passenger vessels.
The new ships will be designed by Rolls-Royce, which offers an integrated small-ship platform for cruise lines that can be scaled.
