The keel laying ceremony of a new 2018 newbuild for Carnival Cruise Line took place today at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard.
The new vessel will be about 133,500 gross tons, carry around6,500 people (guests and crew), and be a sister the 2016-launching Carnival Vista, said Fincantieri, in a statement.
