The first piece of steel was cut at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany for the construction of the World Dream, the second ship being built for Genting’s new brand: Dream Cruises.

Colin Au, Advisor, Founding President and Chief Executive, Genting Hong Kong; Thatcher Brown, President, Dream Cruises; and Bernard Meyer, Managing Partner of Meyer Werft; pushed the button to start the plasma torch to cut the steel.

Delivery of the ship is planned for fall 2017. The sister ship will be delivered in fall 2016.
