Norwegian Building Up Europe in 2017, Getaway to Northern Europe

Norwegian Cruise Line’s deployment is expanding for 2017, as the Norwegian Getaway will sail from May through September from Copenhagen.

Among ports the ship is visiting are Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm and an overnight in St. Petersburg.

The Getaway has previously sailed from Miami, which is the 2014-built ship’s current year-round homeport.

The Norwegian Jade will sail summer 2017 from Hamburg, as well as Amsterdam and Southampton, on a varied program to Western Europe, Norway, Iceland and Scotland.

Mediterranean deployment for 2017 will include the Epic, sailing from Barcelona, the Spirit, mainly from Venice and Barcelona, and the Norwegian Star, which will transit from Australia and sail from Venice to the Eastern Mediterranean.

Update: A previous version of this article listed Warnemunde (Rostock), Germany as the Getaway’s homeport.
