Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. has said it is expected to start building a ship in 2017, reports China Daily. The yard is controlled by the China State Shipbuilding Corp.
The project will include Carnival Corporation, Fincantieri and China Investment Group with a hopeful delivery date of 2020.
Fincantieri is expected to provide the necessary technical support for the 140,000-ton, 4,000-passenger vessel.
