Princess Trims 2016 Alaska Capacity

Princess has announced its 2016 Alaska program, with six ships, compared to seven ships this year, and 106 departures, compared to 125 this year.

Princess will be sailing three ships from Vancouver: the Star, Coral and Island, with a combined total of 6,500 berths (double occupancy), down from four ships this year, the Grand, Star, Coral and Pacific with 7,830 berths.

Seattle maintains its traffic year-over-year with the Ruby and the Crown, and Grand will replace the Golden out of San Francisco next year.

With the sale of the Ocean Princess, the Pacific moves to Europe next year. And the Grand moves from Vancouver to San Francisco, replacing the Golden.

At press time, Princess had not year announced the deployment of the Golden Princess beyond April at which time she is scheduled to transit from Australia to Los Angeles.
