Norwegian Cruise Line will continue on its strong growth curve as four new Breakaway-plus ships will see the Miami-based company’s capacity rocket to 2.6 million passengers by 2020, according to data from the 2015-2016 Cruise Industry News Annual Report.
Taking deliveries of new ships in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019, Norwegian will add significant tonnage to its brand. Assuming the line keeps its existing ships, Norwegian jump from carrying 1.3 million passengers in 2012, to 2.6 million by 2020.
