Thomson Cruises has signed a new collaboration with The Comedy Store, which will further boost its reputation for leading onboard entertainment.
The tie up will bring the best in stand up from the company responsible for launching the careers of a host of famous comedians including Paul Merton, Lee Evans and Michael McIntyre to its customers on board the themed Thomson Dream’s Beyond the Sunset itinerary and Thomson Celebration’s Transatlantic Quest.
The new programme will feature two 45 minute performances on two different nights from some of the best talent on the international comedy circuit.
Helen Caron, Managing Director for Thomson Cruises, says: “We’re really excited about the collaboration with The Comedy Store on our transatlantic itineraries. At Thomson Cruises we pride ourselves on offering world-class entertainment and think our customers are going to really enjoy the best that the comedy world has to offer.”
Taking the theme of comedy further, Thomson Cruises has developed three additional sessions for its customers to take advantage of;
Open Mic – inviting customers on stage to try their hand at stand up
History of comedy – a special guest speaker talking about comedy through the ages
Comedy workshops – an interactive introduction to techniques behind comedy creation and presentation
