On December 11 the Costa Serena was the background of the opening of the new Cruise Terminal 3 in Port Rashid, Dubai, inaugurated by HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed.
Captain Mario Muratore, together with Chief Engineer Tonio Borghero and Hotel Director Luca Melone attended the ceremony with the Crown Prince of Dubai, representing Costa.
The ship, displaying its Italian flag, blew a long whistle when the Terminal was inaugurated.
