Celebrity Cruises Announces Appointment of Strategic Team Manager for NY DMA

D. Scott Clifton, Vice President of Strategic Market Teams for Celebrity Cruises, has announced the appointment of David Siewers as Team Manager for the New York DMA. 

Siewers previously served for nearly two years as Regional Marketing Manager/ Celebrity Cruises/Washington, DC, where he spearheaded the company’s first-ever marketing intensification program in the DC metro area.  

Most recently, Siewers held the post of Regional Marketing Manager for JetBlue Airways, overseeing marketing initiatives. 

He also served as the primary commercial liaison to over 3,000 frontline airport crew members and managed high-profile brand partnerships, including the New York Jets, Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center.

“David has a proven track record of designing localized marketing/sales programs for travel and lifestyle brands,” Clifton noted.  Prior to joining Celebrity, Siewers held the post of Regional Marketing Manager for JetBlue Airways, overseeing marketing initiatives.  He also served as the primary commercial liaison to over 3,000 frontline airport crew members and managed high-profile brand partnerships, including the New York Jets, Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center.

A graduate of Boston University with dual degrees in Communications (B.A.) and Psychology (B.S.), Siewers resides on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
