“For a girls weekend away, Christmas shopping escape or foodie break,” P&O Cruises said it offers a range of two-, three- and four-night cruises to destinations such as Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bruges, Cherbourg, Guernsey and Le Havre from 129 pounds per person.
All the cruises are round-trip from Southampton, meaning there are no restrictions on luggage, according to P&O. The line stated that passengers can bring back sacks full of shopping – whether it be a case full of the finest chocolates from Belgium or a bicycle from Holland.
The mini breaks feature the same range of dining options and entertainment that are found on P&O’s longer sailings.
City breaks and Christmas market cruises include, for example: A two night cruise to Bruges on the Oriana departing October 7, 2014 and starting from 129 pounds per person, and a four-night cruise to Amsterdam and Bruges on the Oceana, departing December 13, 2014 to see the Christmas markets, starting from 279 pounds per person.
