Italian Cruise Traffic Forecast for 2015 Released

Statistics were released on the Italian ports at Italian Cruise Day held in Naples last week, and supported by Cruise Industry News.

After the expected decline in 2014 the first forecasts for 2015 show a growth in cruise traffic in Italian ports of 6.37%.

Cruise calls are essentially stable at +0.31%.

In addition, the study shows, for 2015, an increase of 5% in the number of ports capable of accommodating ships more than 350 metres long, thus increasing the possibilities of docking and stopovers for the new generation structures.
