Carnival Awarding Agents Cabins in October

Carnival Cruise Lines is showing its appreciation to travel agents by giving them 25 complimentary cabins every day in October. To qualify, travel agents must be part of Carnival’s trade email list, accessible through the line’s agent Internet portal, GoCCL.com.

“Our complimentary cabin giveaways have been a huge hit with travel agents from a sales education standpoint as they offer them an opportunity to enjoy our product the way their clients would,” said Joni Rein, vice president of worldwide sales. “Agents have told us they would like to see more of these giveaways and we’re thrilled to round out the year with these complimentary cabins as a sign of our appreciation.”

Starting today through October 31, 2014, travel agents on Carnival’s trade distribution list will be automatically entered to win one of the 25 cruises given away each day throughout the month. Travel agents currently not subscribed to the email list may opt in at any time by visiting GoCCL.com. Winners will be chosen randomly each day and will be informed of their win by email.

As a special bonus, to celebrate CLIA’s National Cruise Vacation Week, which runs from October 6-13, Carnival will offer triple giveaways of 75 cruises each day as part of the “Sail-Away Giveaway.”

As part of the program, travel agents may select from a variety of itineraries, cruise durations and cabin categories. They may bring up to three guests with them based on availability and will be responsible for government fees and taxes, gratuities and any on-board expenses.

The “Sail-Away Giveaway” follows previously popular travel agent complimentary cabin giveaways in 2013 and early 2014.

All programs were implemented directly from travel agent feedback indicating the importance of experiencing the Carnival product as a customer in order to market the experience to their clients.

For complete terms and conditions regarding the “Sail-Away Giveaway,” travel agents may visit the line’s travel agent Internet portal, GoCCL.com.
