Report: Norwegian Closing in on Regent/Oceania Purchase

Norwegian Cruise Line is nearing a purchase of Prestige Cruise Holdings (Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises) according to this Reuters report.

A deal could be announced this week. Both companies share a common shareholder in Apollo Global Management.

A potential buyout would add more ships to Norwegian’s corporate umbrella and would see synergies with purchasing and shoreside staffing, for example.
