Suppliers looking to do business with cruise lines in Asia can now look forward to procurement briefings from the top three players in the Asia-Pacific market at the upcoming China Cruise Shipping and Congress Expo, taking place at the China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association Industry (CCYIA) event in Tianjin, China, Oct. 15-17.
CCYIA officials have added three briefings with Carnival Corporation (representing Costa and Princess, among other brands), Royal Caribbean Cruises and Genting Hong Kong (Star Cruises) to cover procurement in the Asia-Pacific market.
Carnival’s procurement briefing will take place at 3:15pm local time, Wednesday October 15, followed by Genting Hong Kong (Star Cruises) on Thursday at 10:00am and Royal Caribbean Cruises on Friday at 10:00am.
Each session will be some 90 minutes long, and feature a dialogue between the cruise line procurement teams and suppliers looking to do business with them in the Asian market for a quickly growing sector.
The sessions will feature an open format discussion leading to a dialogue between parties and the opportunity for companies to make headway into supplying Asia-Pacific-based cruise ships.
The ninth edition of the China Cruise Shipping Congress and Expo is the Asia/Pacific’s No. 1 cruise event, learn more at http://www.ccyia.com/ccs/EN/index.htm. The show takes place Oct. 15-17 in Tianjin, China.
