More Ports and Crew Training Center Opening Ceremony Part of China Cruise Show

HNA HennaBesides the arrival of Carnival Corporation President and CEO Arnold Donald as well as Royal Caribbean Cruises President and COO Adam Goldstein, the China Cruise Shipping and Cruise International Expo (CCS) will welcome more ports than ever before and has scheduled a key opening ceremony for Royal Caribbean’s Tianjin Training Center.

The leading Asia Cruise Conference takes place from October 15-17 in Tianjin, China.

After opening a new training center in Tianjin, Royal Caribbean and government officials will hold a grand opening ceremony during the event.

And for the first time, the China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA) show has reached out to port executives from across Asia to interface with Chinese government officials as well as cruise lines.

According to a statement released by the CCYIA, the China National Cruise Tourism Development Plan will be presented at the show and will be open for public comments. It was commissioned by the China National Tourism Administration.

Also on the scene in Tianjin will be local cruise operaters HNA and Bohai Ferry.

Ctrip, meanwhile, is said to be continuing its acquisition plans for a cruise ship and may make an announcement before October.
