According to the 2014-2015 Cruise Industry News Annual Report, Viking Ocean Cruises will debut in 2015 carrying some 21,390 passengers on its 930-passenger Viking Star.

With plans to build four ships at Fincantieri before 2018, that puts Viking Ocean on a path to carry some 121,000 passengers annually with all four ships in service.
That number is large when compared to the rest of the luxury market, led by Silvesea Cruises, which Cruise Industry News estimates has capacity for just under 80,000 passengers in 2014.
2014 capacity in the luxury market, made up of Silversea, Crystal, Seabourn, Regent and Hapag-Lloyd (Europa and Europa 2) is roughly 365,000 passengers.
