MSC Cruises is promoting a series of nine 11-day/10-night Atlantic cruises from Southampton, calling at Amsterdam, Guernsey, Vigo, Lisbon, Bilbao and Le Havre.
The MSC Opera will sail from July 9 to Sept. 27, 2014.
According to the cruise line: “This itinerary is an invitation for travellers to discover or visit again European cities that truly have myriads of treasures to be enjoyed. In addition to the city destinations are a range of regional shore excursions.
Sailing from Southampton, MSC said that will allow passengers to spend pre- and post-time in London. Calling in Ijmuiden, the distance to Amsterdam is only 25 kilometers. Guernsey offers waterfront attractions from cafes and bars to beaches. Vigo, Lisbon and Bilbao will offer tastes of Spain and Portugal, including the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Le Havre has its own attractions, but is also the gateway to Paris.
