MAN Diesel & Turbo Appoints David Antoniazzi to lead Sales of Cruise, Ferry and Merchant

MAN  Diesel  &  Turbo  North America – President, Mr. Robert Burger has appointed Mr. David Antoniazzi as Director Sales – Cruise, Ferry and Merchant.   In his new capacity, he is responsible for promoting and selling MAN Medium Speed Engines and aft ship products in North America.

In the Cruise, Ferry and Merchant market he will lead the promotional sales of MAN medium speed marine diesel engines and related ship propulsion and auxiliary machinery components including reduction gears, propellers, and shafting systems to the major Cruise Lines, large ferry operators, and merchant shipping companies throughout the North American region.

Mr.  Antoniazzi  brings  20  years  of  sales,  marketing  and  operational experience to the diesel engine industry. Prior to joining MAN Diesel & Turbo he was with SHW, Inc, a MAN Company, where he was appointed President in 1995. His distinguished career with MAN started at MAN Canada in 2008 as the Managing Director. Later, he moved to the MDT-US team as Sales Director, Stationary and developed the business for spare parts and service sales for MAN Caribbean customers.  In December 2012, Mr. Antoniazzi added the interim leadership position as General Manager for PrimeServ FLL, and assisted with the early stages of the Business Development group.

Mr. Antoniazzi will report to Philip Wasinger, Vice President of New Equipment Diesel at MAN Diesel & Turbo North America Inc. and will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
