Oriana Cruise Cut Short – Propeller Shaft Seal

P&O Cruises Oriana in Funchal on Feb 19, 2014 (photo: Sergio Ferreira) P&O Cruises is ending a voyage on its 1995-built Oriana three days early due to an issue with one of two propeller shaft seals, according to the British cruise line.

The ship will stay in Southampton while necessary repairs are done to fix the seal.

Passengers are getting either a 100 percent future cruise credit on an Oriana sailing, or 40 percent cash refund.

The next cruise is still scheduled to depart March 1, 2014.
