Intercruises Reorganizing North America and Caribbean Team

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Service is reorganizing its North America and Caribbean team to support the evolving needs of the cruise industry and ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery. The changes follow a full business review by Celeste Gladstone, VP Client Relationships, who continues to lead Intercruises North America & Caribbean.

Phil Broderick has moved into the role of VP Port Agency & Turnarounds West Coast & Gulf, responsible for all Intercruises’ turnaround and port agency operations on the West Coast and in the Gulf. Phil has worked in the tourism industry for over 33 years and joined Intercruises in 2011 as VP Business Development. He previously worked as Director of Shore Operations for a leading cruise line.

Margaret Zacharis, currently VP New York Operations, will be transitioning into the role of VP Port Agency & Turnarounds East Coast, responsible for all turnaround and port agency operations on the East Coast. Margaret has been working in the travel industry for almost 30 years, including fourteen years in cruise ground handling with Cruiselink and Intercruises. Margaret has been leading all Intercruises operations in New York since 2007. Stan Webber, VP Port Agency North America, will continue in his role, working closely with Phil and Margaret.

Mike Koutz, currently Director Turnarounds East Coast, will be transitioning into the role of Director Operations Support North America. Mike will drive Health & Safety, Training & Development and Quality Assurance projects, supporting all ports in North America. Mike joined Intercruises in 2012 and previously worked as Outport Guest Services Manager for a leading cruise line. He will be supported by the Intercruises Head Office team in Barcelona and work closely with Phil, Margaret, Stan and Greg Gordon, VP Shore Excursions North America & Caribbean, who continues to lead all Intercruises shore excursion activities throughout North America.

As a result of the reorganization, Kelly Webber, VP Turnarounds North America and Jason Deleo, Director Turnarounds & Transportation Seattle, have left Intercruises.

“This structure provides a strong platform for further development of the business and will help ensure our team delivers a consistently high standard of service. Due to these changes some people are leaving and I would like to thank them for their contribution to Intercruises.,” said  Mark Robinson, Intercruises Managing Director.
