Mina Zayed has been confirmed as the new home for a terminal for cruise ships in Abu Dhabi.
According to Mubarak Al Muhairi, Director General, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, the current temporary terminal has been “earmarked” as a placeholder for a more permanent facility.
In addition, the port is looking for a secondary berthing location for transit calls, and is looking into a stretch of beach on Delma Island to host ships.
