Bermuda Set for New Line-Backed Port Project?

The Bermuda government may be closing in on a new cruise terminal, new berthing location, and new partner in a major cruise line, according to rumors.

Speculation is rampant that island authorities are close to a deal with a cruise operator which will see a brand new facility built on the East End of the island – and further modifications that would allow the latest classes of megaships to come alongside.

Traffic to Bermuda is down since Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America Line pulled out, and berthing space is not only limited, but restricted when it comes to ship size.
