AIDA Cruises is poised to unveil its latest generation of ships, under construction in Japan, at a special briefing in Hamburg, Germany, on October 8.
In June, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries laid the first keel for the latest generation of AIDA Cruises’ ships.
The 125,000-ton vessels are being built in Japan at an estimated cost of $645 million each.
The first ship is set for a March 2015 delivery with a second ship following a year later.
