Norwegian and Belize Move Toward Port Facility

Norwegian Cruise Line and the Government of Belize are reported to be moving forward in a major multimillion dollar project to bring Norwegian ships to Belize with a dedicated facility.

7 News Belize reports that Prime Minister Dean Barrow has confirmed that a final MOU will be signed with the Miami-based cruise line to build a cruise terminal on Harvest Caye in Southern Belize.

Local reports put the investment from Norwegian between $50 and $100 million.
