Apollo Partners with Academie Nationale de Cuisine

The Apollo Group has long been famous for the culinary delights provided onboard the cruise ships of Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and other illustrious lines.

Now, in partnership with Académie Nationale de Cuisine of France, yet another level is being reached, and the current growth of Apollo Global Catering, a member of The Apollo Group, makes this an opportune time for the new association.

A chapter of the academy (ANC-USA) has opened in the USA, based in Miami, and membership is open to all professionals of the food and beverage industry including chefs, caterers, bakers, confectioners, chocolatiers and pastry chefs. To join, candidates must have proven professional experience and be sponsored by two current ANC members in good standing who have personal knowledge of the candidate’s qualifications.

The Académie Nationale de Cuisine, a professional, organization for culinary professionals, was founded in 1975 and incorporated in 1977 in Paris, France. Since then, little has changed in its principal goals, namely to be an organization based on promoting the professional image of culinary professionals worldwide through the education of culinarians at all levels.

The American Chapter of the French National Culinary Academy provides educational programs, certifications, competitions and networking designed to enhance professional growth for all current and future chefs and pastry chefs. A fascinating blog, entitled ‘The Culinary Insider’ written by Alain Harvey is produced by ANC-USA, and can be enjoyed at http://www.anc-us.com/blog/

Commenting on the new partnership, Bernard Cuillier, Director Culinary Development for Apollo Global Catering said: “Strengthening our modern approach to culinary innovation by associating ourselves with the US chapter of Académie Nationale de Cuisine was a well-timed decision, and will ultimately add tremendous value to our global culinary business model”
