Paul Gauguin Cruises announced the appointment of Rolf Freedman as Director of Sales, Northwest Region, which encompasses Alaska, California (Northern), Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

“I am delighted to welcome Rolf Freedman to the Paul Gauguin Cruises family,” said Sandy Stevens, Vice President of Sales for Paul Gauguin Cruises. “Rolf brings a wealth of luxury cruise sales experience and extensive industry knowledge to his role.”

In his new position at Paul Gauguin Cruises, Rolf will be responsible for presenting and selling Paul Gauguin Cruises to travel agency partners and top accounts, building and maintaining key travel agency partner relationships, and providing account management, promotions, and product seminars.

Rolf began his career more than 30 years ago as a Sports Director for Club Med, a position he held in Mexico, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Tahiti. His career in the luxury cruise industry was launched when he became Regional Manager of Seabourn Cruise Line and Cunard Line, where he implemented a comprehensive sales program.

Rolf has since been associated with Intrav, Clipper Cruise Line, and Crystal Cruises, where he successfully managed sales for the San Francisco and Northern California territory. For the past year, he has held the position of Vice President of Sales in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountain states, and Canada for the newly formed Mississippi riverboat company, American Queen Steamboat company.
