Currently sailing as the Artania for Phoenix Reisen, the Royal Princess launched in 1984 for Princess Cruises, built at Wartsila Shipyard and named by Princess Diana.

She was moved to the P&O fleet in 2005, and was renamed Artemis before being sold to Phoenix Reisen in 2009. The ship was then transferred to the German company and renamed Artania in 2011.
