The SuperStar Gemini, the newly refurbished 50,764-ton passenger cruise vessel for Star Cruises, sail from Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal on January 2 2013 as she continues her series of inaugural cruises across Asia.
Last week, SuperStar Gemini embarked on her maiden voyages from Singapore Cruise Centre and she has now brought over her cruise magic to Penang.
She will be homeported in Penang in January and Sanya in February & March, before commencing her seven-month seasonal deployment from April in Shanghai, calling at popular destinations in North.
The refurbished SuperStar Gemini features upgraded navigational and safety systems; restyled cabins, restaurants, entertainment & recreational facilities and a new hull artwork, depicting the constellation twins in vibrant colours.
The vessel will offer an all-inclusive cruise experience, including a variety of entertainment and recreational choices to delight its 1,700 passengers. She houses 766 luxury guest cabins as well as over 6,000 sq feet of up-market duty-free retail area, a spa and health club and offers a broad range of Asian and international cuisine, among others.

Star Cruises is the only international cruise line which has homeported its ship in Penang since 2010. In addition to Hong Kong, Penang, Sanya, Singapore and Taiwan, Shanghai will serve as another home port for us from April. Superstar Gemini will be homeported in Shanghai and cruise to popular destinations in North Asia from April to October.”
