According to Finnish media reports, Economic Minister of Finland Jan Vapaavuori declined to comment on whether there would be a decision today, or “even this year,” on a financing package for a third Oasis-class megaship to be built at STX in Turku for Royal Caribbean International.
Having first turned down loan guarantees, the Finnish government is said to be re-addressing the issue in hopes that the Finnish yard wins the order from Royal Caribbean.
