American Cruise Lines today announced the introduction of its Discover America Cruise Collection, an assortment of featured itinerary combinations and themes that showcase some of the United States’ most intriguing places, such as the American Heartland on the Mississippi River and the Wild West on the Columbia and Snake Rivers.

Wild, Wild West (15 Days) – Mississippi River and Columbia & Snake Rivers – This featured combination offered aboard two authentic paddlewheelers, will take guests on an unforgettable journey into the American Heartland and the Wild West. Aboard Queen of the West, guests will follow the rivers that helped shape the West, tracing the footsteps of the legendary explorers Lewis and Clark. Aboard the brand new Queen of the Mississippi, guests will travel back in time, experiencing life and travel on the river as Mark Twain did in days gone by. The Wild, Wild West package begins on June 15, 2013.

On both cruises guests will see history come alive while discovering the pristine beauty of the wild western frontier and the graceful South. The Coast to Coast cruise package begins on May 4, 2013.
