Louis Firms Up 2013 Med Deployment

Louis CristalLouis Cruises has confirmed the cruise line’s 2013 fleet deployment schedule for its 3-, 4- and 7-night Aegean cruises that is scheduled to operate from March 15th through November 1st, 2013. Maintaining its commitment to offer the widest range of sailings to all the popular destinations of the Aegean, Louis Cruises announced its 2013 cruise program, which has been compiled with input from industry collaborators and cruise passengers.

As a leading specialist in the Aegean, Louis Cruises 2013 cruise itineraries offer:

1) A wide array of 3, 4 & 7-night Cruises on destination-friendly cruise ships
2) Multiple embarkation and disembarkation possibilities from various ports of call
3) Increased time of stay to enjoy each destination and its Shore excursions

In line with the above, Louis Cruises said that the Louis Cristal is scheduled to perform the 3- and 4- night cruises during the 2013 Aegean Cruise Season.

The line’s 2013 standard 3-night “Aegean Legends” cruise program visiting Piraeus, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Heraklion and Santorini includes the following important amendments:

•  Heraklion (Crete) has been reinstated as a port of call for our 3 night itineraries throughout 2013

•  Patmos will be included only from March 15 to May 31, (both dates included) and from September 6 to November 1, (both dates included).

•  From June 07th to August 30th, 2013 we are offering a full day stay in Κusadasi, and therefore Patmos will not be called during the summer period.

Louis Cruises’ 4-night “Jewels of the Aegean” cruise will sail from Piraeus and visit Mykonos, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Patmos, Heraklion and Santorini. This 4-night cruise program will be offered throughout the season from March 18th to November 4th, 2013 (both dates included). The extensive direct flight availability to different islands and port provides the opportunity to include our 3- and 4- night cruises in many land programs. Accordingly, Louis Cruise has increased stays in Piraeus (Athens), Kusadasi (Turkey) and Heraklion (Crete) thereby facilitating embarkation and disembarkation in these ports.

Embarkation / disembarkation for the 3- and 4-night itineraries will be offered from the ports of Piraeus (Athens/Attica) Kusadasi (Turkey), Heraklion (Crete) and Rhodes (4-Night cruise itinerary). Embarkation from more ports will enhance airlift- and land arrangements for 2013. To facilitate these increased options our Reservation System will now include the following segments: Piraeus-Piraeus, Kusadasi-Kusadasi, Kusadasi- Piraeus, Heraklion-Heraklion and Rhodes-Rhodes. Other possible combinations will be offered only upon request such as disembarkation in Santorini as the last port of call for both 3 & 4-Night cruise itineraries.

During 2013 the Louis Coral will perform an amended 8-day/-7night cruise program “Greece and Turkey” sailing from Lavrion (Athens/Attica) to Istanbul, Mykonos, Patmos, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Crete (Heraklion), Santorini throughout the season (except July and August 2013) as follows: From April 26, 2013 until June 28, 2013 (both dates included) and from September 6, 2013 until October 25, 2013 (both dates included).

Embarkation / disembarkation for the 7-night program will be offered from the ports of Lavrion (Athens/Attica) and Istanbul (Turkey). Embarkation from Istanbul will enhance airlift- and land arrangements for 2013. To facilitate these increased options our Reservation System will now include the following segments: Lavrion-Lavrion, Istanbul-Istanbul, Istanbul-Lavrion. Other possible combinations will be offered only upon availability.

By choosing Lavrion as new embarkation port for the 7-night cruise program, travelers arrive earlier in Istanbul to enjoy a more relaxed, full day to enjoy the shore excursion program, visiting the best of Istanbul highlights. The amended itinerary offers travelers a unique opportunity to disembark in Mykonos — on Sundays to overnight there, so as to experience the world-wide famous “Mykonos by night”. Travelers can then enjoy a full day there (Monday) and continue their cruise from Mykonos on Monday evening, without having to pack/unpack their belongings, as their cabins will be reserved for them (Hotel on Mykonos to be arranged by passengers separately or through and organized shore excursion). Additionally, Patmos has been reinstated in the amended itinerary, while Rhodes is a full day call.
