Louis Cruises has denied rumors that the 1980-built Cristal has been sold.

The Cyprus based company released a statement to Cruise Industry News, underlining the fact the 15,179-ton vessel has not been sold and that “while we are continuously approached by various parties interested in purchasing vessels, these approaches do not of course, constitute a sale.”

As a publicly listed company, Louis is required to make announcements on such developments, noted the spokesperson.

“We are aware of these rumors, but they are exactly that, rumors,” the company added.
