Ricardo Amaral has been re-elected as president of ABREMAR, the South American cruise association.
Amaral is managing director, Latin America for Royal Caribbean Cruises and is responsible for Brazil, Latin America and Mexico for Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises.
Amaral has led ABREMAR since 2009, and his new term runs through 2014, when a new president will take over. The new president will be chosen by a rotation of companies.
Andre Pousada was replaced as vice president by Aurelio Maduro.
