TUI Cruises is expanding its popular Mein Schiff mobile app to the Android platform from the iPhone and iPod.

The app, according to the cruise line, gives users entertaining and informative elements on TUI’s two-ship fleet, including the current positions, as well as webcams views from the ships.

“The feeling of actually being there live,” read a statement from the German-based line.

Routes and schedules are available for each sailing; in addition, current and future events will be displayed. Also available are the last episodes of the video blogs MeinSchiff.TV and the lastest updates from TUI on Facebook and Twitter.
