Amsterdam Expects Record 2012

The 2012 season in Amsterdam started with Marco Polo on January 4th and will end with P&O Oceana on December 31st.

Amsterdam expects 155 cruise ships, of which 84 are turnaround calls.

The Celebrity Constellation, Brilliance of the Seas, MSC Lirica, HAL’s Prinsendam, Costa Deliziosa and Costa Magica will use Amsterdam as their homeport for this season. Marco Polo operates partial turnarounds.

Newcomers to the port in 2012 include AIDAmar, Holland America Line’s Ryndam and Celebrity Reflection and the Bremen.

Total passenger numbers will be around 360.000, also breaking the 2011 record. For 2013, 144 ships have already been booked.
