Charlie Palmer to Depart Seabourn Cruise Line

After 10 years of creating cuisine for cruise guests, Chef Charlie Palmer will complete his role as Seabourn’s Consulting Executive Chef in December 2011.

“It has been a fulfilling journey to work with Seabourn and introduce creative dishes that showcase familiar and fresh ingredients,” explains Palmer. “Seabourn’s clientele demands five-star hospitality and I was determined to demonstrate that five-star cuisine could be a part of that experience.”

“We are grateful to Charlie for the expertise and insight he has provided us,” said Seabourn President Richard Meadows. “It has indeed been a fulfilling journey and, I might add, a delicious one. Charlie’s guidance to Seabourn’s highly-skilled culinary team has helped bring Seabourn’s cuisine on par with the best in the world.”

Chef Palmer will continue to open new restaurant and hotel concepts across the U.S.
