Regent Names Shawn Tubman as VP of National Accounts

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has named Shawn Tubman as vice president, national accounts effective immediately. In his new role, Tubman is responsible for growing Regent Seven Seas’ business through its consortium, co-operative and marketing partners.

A 30-year travel industry veteran, Tubman for the past nine years has been president of the Cruise Shoppes travel agency consortium and also served as chief marketing officer for its parent company, Extraordinary Vacations, which also owned Maupintour.

Prior cruise experience includes serving in several sales and marketing leadership capacities during his 22-year tenure at Norwegian Cruise Line. Tubman’s last post at NCL was vice president of sales.

“Having held management posts for both suppliers and travel agencies, Shawn uniquely understands the needs of each and the ways we can work together to increase sales and profitability,” according to Mark Conroy, the line’s president. “The addition of Shawn to our sales team further demonstrates our commitment to the travel agency community.”
