Nantes has booked seven cruise calls for 2012, up from five this year, and recently closed its 2011 cruise season with Hurtigruten’s Fram, according to the latest edition of the port’s newsletter. During the Fram’s call at Nantes, 250 German passengers went on excursions to Guérande, Clisson and the Château de Goulaine, to the vineyards and to the city center of Nantes.
Other passengers and members of the crew visited the City of the Dukes of Brittany. At the end of the day, Nantes’ Bagad players welcomed the passengers back to the ship with Breton music. The Fram will be calling again next fall.
