Hogan Joins Carnival Cruise Lines as VP of Finance – Shipboard Operations

Thomas Hogan, a highly accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, has been named vice president of finance – shipboard operations for Carnival Cruise Lines, the world’s largest cruise operator.

As vice president of finance – shipboard operations, Hogan is responsible for accounting functions, financial and operational analysis, shipboard payroll, and financial technology for Carnival’s 23-ship fleet.  He reports to Anne Bramman, Carnival’s senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Prior to joining Carnival, Hogan served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Talisker Mountain, Inc., which operates multiple business units including hotels, ski resorts and golf courses, as well as restaurants, retail outlets and real estate holdings. 

He also spent 10 years at Marriott International, where he held a number of executive positions, including vice president of corporate finance, vice president global asset management, and vice president of corporate finance and new business development for the organization’s Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company division. Hogan also served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for CSX Hotels, Inc., which operates the four-star Greenbrier Hotel in West Virginia.  

Hogan earned a bachelor of science in accounting and a master’s of business administration from the University of Maryland.
