Carnival Australia Announces Senior Strategic Development

In line with continuing strong industry growth, Carnival Australia Chief Executive Officer Ann Sherry has established a senior strategic development role at Australia’s leading cruise company.

Neil Linwood, until now Carnival Australia’s Chief Financial Officer, takes on the new role of Senior Vice President Strategic Development to address opportunities and challenges to deliver further growth.

“Neil brings broad industry experience and financial skills to this senior position which is vital to our approach in relation to port infrastructure and other business development projects,” Ms Sherry said.

“This new role is a reflection of Carnival Australia’s rapid expansion in recent years and the need to help guide a much bigger and more complex organisation to further growth and operational success.”

As a result of Neil Linwood’s appointment, Wayne Stokes, who is currently Carnival Australia’s Finance Director, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer reporting directly to the CEO.
