Holland America Promotes Raisa Kaufan to Deputy Director, Intl Reservations

Holland America Line has promoted Raisa Kaufman to deputy director, international reservations. She is responsible for overseeing the line’s international call centers in Australia, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Kaufman reports to Tim Murphy, vice president, guest services. 

Most recently Kaufman was manager, account services, overseeing reservations accounting, ship services and world cruise reservations.

“Raisa has been with Holland America Line for almost 20 years and in her time with the company she has mastered several positions of increasing responsibility,” said Murphy. “She continually demonstrates her ability to succeed at whatever duties are given to her, and we know she’ll make a great contribution in her new role.”

Kaufman began her career with Holland America Line in 1992 in the reservations department. She worked her way up to supervisor of ship services and then moved to the role of applications support lead in information technology before taking her most recent position in account services.

The native of Finland received her project management certification from the University of Washington and lives in Seattle.
