SeaDream Drops 2012 Northern European Season

SeaDream Yacht Club recently cancelled its 2012 summer Northern European season.  Instead, the SeaDream II will sail in the Mediterranean.

The small-ship luxury line embarked on its first Baltic season in 2011 with the SeaDream I and was scheduled to return with her sister ship in 2012.

The line confirmed to various media outlets that it had failed to secure a charter for the 2012 London Olympics, as there could be hotel ships to help accomodate the games, but berthing fees are said to be outrageous.

So far the Peter Deilmann is the only ship to have confirmed its space at the West India Docks and is reportedly charging around $7,000 for three nights, per person.
