Princess Drops Puerto Vallarta

Princess Cruises has cancelled calls in Puerto Vallarta for the remainder of 2011, affecting itineraries on its Sapphire Princess later in the year

The original itinerary called for transit calls in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Now, the ship will stop in Ensenada and overnight in Cabo San Lucas, sailing roundtrip from Los Angeles.

Princess cited security issues on cancelling Puerto Vallarta visits.

Earlier this year, Carnival Cruise Lines, Disney Cruise Line and Holland America Line cancelled calls in Mazatlan following security concerns.
