To enhance the inaugural celebrations surrounding Costa Favolosa’s debut July 2 in Trieste, Italy, Costa Cruises is offering lower rates on select summer and fall Mediterranean itineraries during a one-week sale. The promotion runs June 29 to July 5, 2011, and includes special fares on Costa Favolosa’s seven-night eastern Mediterranean cruises from Venice, Italy, calling at Bari, Italy; Katakolon, Greece; Izmir and Istanbul, Turkey, and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Included in the sale are seven-night Mediterranean sailings on Costa Serena, Costa Concordia, Costa Magica, Costa Romantica, Costa Victoria and Costa Fortuna, as well as Costa Concordia’s seven- to 10-night winter Mediterranean sailings from Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. Sale fares begin at $429 per person, double occupancy, for the seven-night summer and fall itineraries, and $559 for the seven- to 10-night winter itineraries.
The 114,500-ton, 3,800-passenger Costa Favolosa was built by Fincantieri at Marghera, Italy, and is the largest cruise ship flying the Italian flag.
