Set sail on a 12-night positioning cruise from New York City departing on MSC Poesia Oct. 29 to waters of the Caribbean and disembarking in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Nov. 10–the official start of MSC’s Caribbean cruise season.
Snowbirds relocating from the Northeast to the Sunshine State for the winter can take advantage of this “Colors of the Caribbean” cruise calling in Ochos Rios, Jamaica; Cristobal, Panama; Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; and Cozumel, Mexico. Cruises begin at $899 per person plus $58.56 government fees and taxes.
According to MSC Cruises’ North American president and chief-executive-officer, Rick Sasso, this cruise is a feasible option for those travelling to Florida for the season and others just seeking a cruise vacation.
“Not only is a cruise one of the most cost-effective vacations to travel in style, but for snowbirds relocating to Florida for the winter, this itinerary provides a worry-free option by avoiding airlines, baggage fees, and other inconveniences allowing them to make the most of their journey south,” said Sasso.
