American Cruise Lines Adds Alaskan Itineraries

American Cruise Lines announced today the addition of a new itinerary – Alaska. Seven-to-eleven night cruises will showcase the beauty of Alaska’s coastline with exposure to its magnificent wildlife, glaciers and inside passages.

“It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we announce our new Alaskan cruises,” said Charles A. Robertson, President of American Cruise Lines. “We take pride in offering passengers the best small ship cruising experience on the most unique itineraries in the U.S., a winning combination that has continued to bring our passengers back time and again.”

Beginning next summer in June of 2012, American Cruise Lines will offer several different Alaskan itineraries, including round trip cruises departing from Juneau, Alaska, and one-way cruises between Juneau and Seattle, Washington. New and returning passengers can expect all the modern onboard amenities – oversized staterooms and bathrooms, private balconies and elevators, along with exceptional locale-inspired cuisine and highly personalized service.

“A state with impressive history and one of the country’s most scenic coastlines, going to Alaska was a natural next step for American Cruise Lines,” added Timothy Beebe, the cruise line’s Vice President. “Our itineraries will bring the great outdoors of Alaska to the fingertips of passengers, leaving them with experiences and memories they will never forget.”
