Ambassadors International, parent company to Windstar Cruises, was trading up some 83 percent by 2pm (EST) on Wednesday, March 30.
The average volume for the last three months, just under 40,000, had skyrocketed to just under 875,000 as the share price peaked just after 12pm at 2.24.
Neither Ambassadors nor Windstar had announced anything, and Ambassadors has yet to release full year 2010 results.
