MSC Issues Statement on Tunis, Egypt and Bahrain

“MSC Cruises always places the security and comfort of its guests and crew before all considerations. As a consequence of the recent political developments in Northern Africa, the company confirms that MSC ships will not call in Tunis, Egypt and Bahrain for the time being.

The MSC fleet always sails wherever it is safest for its guests. The Mediterranean Sea offers, in this respect, an immense variety of magnificent destinations and cultural treasures to satisfy every imaginable likings and moods: Italy, Spain, France and the Adriatic side too, with Greece and Turkey, not to mention the wonderful islands of the Aegean Sea, such as Cyprus and Rhodes. MSC guests will never be short of choices. The company also stresses its readiness for altering further itineraries, should any other situation arise. On the other hand should the situation in these countries return to normal, MSC Cruises will reintroduce the routes originally planned.”
