Intercruises North America and Caribbean Region Created After Restructuring

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, an experienced global business offering first class ground handling and port agency services to the Ocean and river cruise industry, has announced a series of promotions and appointments following the restructuring of its North American and Caribbean teams.

Celeste Gladstone, Intercruises President, North America & Caribbean, has joined the Intercruises board of directors, effective as of January 1st 2011. Celeste has over 25 years of experience in the cruise industry and has been instrumental in Intercruises’ and the cruise industry’s growth in North America and the Caribbean.

She is a well respected cruise industry figure with in depth knowledge that will enable her to pioneer our international business development.” Stated Mark Robinson, Managing Director, Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services.

Operations in The Caribbean have now been incorporated as part of the Intercruises North America mandate, creating the region Intercruises North America & Caribbean. The region encompasses Canada, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the USA. Tom Anderson will lead operations in the region following his promotion to Executive Vice President, North America & Caribbean. Tom has over 20 years experience in the cruise industry and will assume a selection of Celeste’s previous responsibilities, becoming the main contact for all operations in the region.

Greg Gordon has been promoted to Director, Tour Programs, becoming responsible for all shorex activity in the USA. Turnarounds in the USA are now managed by Margaret Zacharis, Operations Director US Turnarounds, while Elizabeth Shearin will take charge of port agency as Port Agency Director, North America.
